About Fox Solutions

Fox Solutions (FS) is based in San Diego, California and builds quality custom software applications for small and mid-sized companies. FS is primarily driven by the experience and expertise of senior developer and owner Bill Heitstuman. However, on occasion, Bill has employed others in the development of larger projects. Fox Solutions started out in 1998 by developing a framework of tools for Microsoft's Visual FoxPro and at the same time used these tools to develop powerful applications for its San Diego clients. The FoxSolutions application framework was designed to help developers build powerful and complex application quickly. Though Visual FoxPro has now become outdated by newer technologies, FS continues its commitment to exellence by adopting the lastest technologies. Today FS develops mostly with Microsoft Visual Studio.Net, Adobe Studio and Adobe Flex. These products provide a wide range of application development tools such as C#.Net, Visual Basic.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, Dreamweaver, and Flex Builder. In addition, we also use Microsoft Access for smaller database projects.

Bill has been developing software for over thirteen years and has specialized in custom information systems for the past ten years. He has built applications for inventory control, accounting, reservations, manufacturing, production cost quotes, collection agencies and more. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Operations Management. Though his programming skills are second to none, you will find that it's his general understanding of accounting, scheduling, product development and manufacturing operations that make him so valuable.
