Bill Heitstuman at Fox Solutions developed a robust, custom software system to handle our Cloud 9 Shuttle internal operations. Starting with our reservations department, Bill systematically incorporated each department of our operation into one cohesive information system. We are currently using the C9 System that he designed to run our reservation, routing, vehicle maintenance, driver scheduling and cashiering departments.
Bill’s development style is both professional and effective. He first listens and understands the requirements of our operational need. Then, after a short initial design, he goes over some possible software solutions to fit our need. He usually gives us several options based on system complexity and various development costs.
In the process of developing our system, we have directed Bill to work with several third-party vendors for mapping solutions, credit card processing, wireless communication, and other services; Bill has always represented our company in a professional and courteous manner. He is also very skilled at seamlessly integrating third-party software into our system.
In the three years Bill developed for us, he suggested many ways to increase productivity, increase the flexibility of the program, and increase the accuracy of data entry. Some specific ways in which he increased productivity include:
- Automation of reservation taking process including logical data validation and data lookups
- Mapping of address information with Microsoft MapPoint and Thomas Brothers GeoData
- Automation of credit card processing
- Tracking of customer frequency and activity
- Automation of vehicle resource allocation

- Mapped vehicle routing
- Automation of email receipts
